STEM Summer Research Opportunities at SU
Guerrieri Undergraduate Research Summer Program
The goal of this program is to foster a community of undergraduate research and engaged scholarship during the summer months in the Henson School of Science and Technology at Salisbury University. The Guerrieri Undergraduate Research Summer Program serves all majors in the Henson School. The accepted students and their faculty mentors will meet regularly for lunch and discussions about their respective projects. The program is funded through the generous support of the Guerrieri Family Foundation.

Explore Emerging Computing in Science and Engineering (EXERCISE)
EXERCISE (Explore Emerging Computing in Science and Engineering) is an interdisciplinary project that explores emerging paradigms in parallel computing with data and compute-intensive applications in science and engineering.
In the EXERCISE project, students will apply emerging parallel computing models including GPU computing with NVIDIA CUDA (a local parallel processing system) and MapReduce computing on Amazon EC2 (a distributed parallel processing system) to tackle data and compute-intensive problems in computer networks, image and signal processing, and geographic information systems.
