成人抖阴Hosts 'Scanning the Pharaohs' Lecture
SALISBURY, MD---Dr. Sahar Saleem, professor of radiology at Cairo University, Egypt, continues Salisbury University’s fall “Intersection of Art and Science” cultural events series with the presentation “Scanning the Pharaohs: CT Imaging of the New Kingdom Royal Mummies.”
Her talk is 7 p.m. Thursday, November 29, in the Great Hall of Holloway Hall. (This lecture was rescheduled from its original date of December 3.)
Using cutting-edge multi-detector computed tomography and DNA analysis, Saleem was involved in recent research that provided new information about Egypt’s royal mummies via new imaging techniques. The findings provided new information about the age, medical conditions and more of kings Tutankhamun, Amenhotep III, Tiye, Ramesses II, Ramesses III and others at the time of their deaths.
