Salisbury Film Society Presents 'Zama'
SALISBURY, MD---The Salisbury University Film Society (SFS) presents the Academy Award-winning drama Zama 1 p.m. on Sunday, December 1 in the Fulton Hall Film Center (Room 111) at Salisbury University.
Based on Antonio Di Benedetto’s novel, Don Diego de Zama, the film tells the story of a Spanish soldier patiently awaiting the King’s approval to transfer with his fellow officers and comrades. When the approval never arrives, Zama leads a band of soldiers to seek justice for their mistreatment.
The SFS series is co-sponsored by the Salisbury Wicomico Arts Council (SWAC) and SU’s Charles R. and Martha N. Fulton School of Liberal Arts.
