成人抖阴Celebrates Administrator and Faculty Achievements
SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University celebrates the following recent administrator and faculty achievements:
Dr. Laurie Henry, dean of the Samuel W. and Marilyn C. Seidel School of Education, has been accepted into the fourth cohort of the Impact Academy, a yearlong fellowship for leaders of educator-preparation programs hosted by the national organization Deans for Impact.
Beginning in July, she will join 18 additional fellows from 12 states in working with Deans for Impact to build capacity to catalyze program improvements and enhance teacher readiness.
Dr. Lawanda Dockins-Mills, associate dean of students, presented at the International Town and Gown Association’s City and University Relations Conference at Penn State.
She discussed “Building Common Ground: Students and Communities Living and Working Together.” Her presentation highlighted SU’s non-punitive restorative justice program, through which the University handles reported community concerns about student neighbors via informal meetings rather than formal adjudication.
Dr. Frank Shipper, professor emeritus of management and marketing, has been named among the top 1 percent of researchers on the scholarly networking website Academia.edu based on 30-day views of papers posted there. The site tracks the research interests of more than 79 million academics worldwide.
Shipper’s research on employee-owned companies has been referenced by national media including MSNBC and The Wall Street Journal, and featured in the Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations’ Curriculum Library for Employee Ownership, the largest global online resource for that topic.
