Important Update for Returning Undergraduate Students from Salisbury University
Greetings from Salisbury University!
We look forward to welcoming you back this August and wanted to send a quick note to let you know what you can expect in the upcoming academic year.
One of the greatest predictors of student success is engagement — that’s why the focus at 成人抖阴is on our community of engaged learning. But we recognize that for many, there may be a bit of a transition to engaging with others and returning to “normal” activities. Please know that our faculty and staff are committed to your success. They are here for you.
While some courses will be delivered online or in a hybrid format, more than 80% of sections will be face-to-face and at pre-pandemic classroom capacities. We are excited for the full return of students in classrooms, laboratories, simulation facilities, competition spaces, studios, and performance venues. We expect students to be able to participate in in-person internships, clinicals, field experiences, conference presentations, and exhibitions. Unless there is a significant increase in COVID-19 in our area, course modalities are not expected to change. If you haven’t yet enrolled in courses, Open Enrollment is available July 7-14, July 19-August 5, and August 9-29. Please contact the Academic Advising Center (advising@salisbury.edu) with questions you may have about your schedule or how to register.
Campus offices, services and engagement opportunities will be fully open and available to you. For example, if you need assistance with time management, writing, stress, or other challenges that may impact your studies, please don’t hesitate to contact your academic advisor (listed in GullNet and Navigate), the Center for Student Achievement, 成人抖阴Libraries, the University Writing Center, the Center for International Education, SU’s Counseling Center, the Disability Resources Center, and/or the Office of Diversity & Inclusion. The 成人抖阴Cares webpage provides a great overview of support services at SU. If you haven’t downloaded the Navigate app, please do. Navigate offers many features that support your success at SU. While opportunities for international study will continue to be limited through 2021, we look forward to the return of Study Abroad in 2022.
In Student Affairs, residence halls, student activities (including clubs/organizations and fraternity and sorority life), career services and other student life areas will be open and engaging with students. The Center for Student Involvement & Leadership (or CSIL) is a great place to get involved in campus and community life. While some practices may look a bit different based on our COVID-19 protocols, we plan to offer students many opportunities for out-of-class learning and leadership experiences.
The most up-to-date information about our public health efforts and requirements is available on the 成人抖阴COVID-19 webpage.
We are proud of all of the efforts of 成人抖阴students, faculty and staff and thank you for doing your part to keep us safely moving forward. We look forward to seeing you soon!
