SU's Fall Fulton Faculty Colloquium Speakers Announced

SALISBURY, MD---Faculty in Salisbury University’s Charles R. and Martha N. Fulton School of Liberal Arts share their research and expertise during this semester’s Fulton Faculty Colloquium series.

Presentations are 3:30 the first Tuesday of each month in Conway Hall Room 152.

Speakers and topics include:

  • September 5 – Dr. Aston Gonzalez (History): “Benjamin Banneker and the Making and Memory of Maryland’s Black Genius” and Dr. Vinita Agarwal (Communication): “A Whole Person View: Accomplishing Happiness, Health and Well Being in Everyday Life”
  • October 3 – Dr. Heidi Fritz (Psychology): “Resilience in the Face of Chronic Medical Stress: Reflections on Three Empirical Studies” and Dr. Elsie Walker (English): “Understanding Movies for Greater Well-Being, Heart Intelligence and Happiness”
  • November 7 – Dr. April Logan (English): “The Black Poetess: A New Women’s Rights Movement Genealogy” and David Gladden (Art): “Night Blooms,” exhibited in the Fulton Hall, University Gallery September 18-November 10.
  • December 5 – Dr. Anjali Pandey (English): “Cosmetic Multilingualism in the Age of Cultural Commerce: Surveying Trends” and Dr. Dean Kotlowski (History): “Australia’s Presidents? Herbert Hoover and Lyndon Johnson Remembered ‘Down Under’”
