SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Edward H. Nabb Research Center for Delmarva History and Culture hosts the panel discussion “Overlooked Stories of Brownsville, VA” 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, in Conway Hall Room 156.

The panel discusses The Nature Conservancy’s work to uncover stories of overlooked indigenous and enslaved stewards of the land that is now part of the Brownsville Preserve in Nassawadox, VA. Panelists include Vanessa Moses, assistant manager/educator at the Chesapeake Bay Foundation’s Port Isobel East site; Jennifer Miller, The Nature Conservancy’s Brownsville Preserve Manager; and Ian Post, local history archivist at the Nabb Center.

Admission is free and the public is invited.
