Henson Seminar Featuring Dr. Joe Adserias-Garriga October 3

SALISBURY, MD---Dr. Joe Adserias-Garriga, assistant professor of applied forensic sciences at Mercyhurst University, discusses “Who? How? When? Contributions of Forensic Anthropology and Forensic Odontology to Casework” 4 p.m. Thursday, October 3, in Room 243 of Salisbury University’s Henson Science Hall. 

Adserias-Garriga speaks on the value and contributions of forensic anthropology and forensic odontology to casework, illustrated by forensic cases conducted by the Department of Applied Forensic Sciences team at Mercyhurst.

Her work as a forensic anthropologist includes assisting in the identification and repatriation of unidentified human remains found along the South Texas border. She is a member of International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) working groups that focus on disaster victim identification (DVI) odontology and DVI pathology-anthropology.
