Film at Fulton Series Returns to 成人抖阴This Spring

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Charles R. and Martha N. Fulton School of Liberal Arts hosts this spring’s “Film at Fulton” film series 7 p.m. select Fridays from February-April at the Herman van Apeldoorn Film Center, Fulton Hall Room 111.

A panel discussion with experts and enthusiasts follows each screening. Films include:

  • February 3 – Quo Vadis, Aida?: Aida finds her work as a United Nations translator in a rural village under threat as the political turmoil plaguing 1990s Bosnia and Herzegovina reaches a boiling point, endangering countless villagers. As Serbian troops infiltrate the town, Aida and her family must rely on her UN affiliation to seek shelter or face the fatal consequences of being caught in the crossfire.
  • March 10 – Pebbles: Amid a historic drought in Southern India, Ganapathy, a chain-smoking, ornery drunk, embarks on a 13-kilometer road trip by foot through the sun-drenched desert accompanied by his young son. Their destination is a neighboring village where Ganapathy’s wife is with her parents after fleeing the abuses of her husband, who now plans to exact a terrible revenge. This showing marks one of the handful of public screenings of this film in North America.
  • April 7 – The Vigil: A young man on overnight watch to a deceased member of his Orthodox Jewish community begins to feel increasingly unsettled as he finds himself opposite a malevolent entity intent on the destruction of his people. Director Keith Thomas’ electrifying feature debut operates within the parameters of a horror sub-genre that more commonly focuses on Christianity, but here it uniquely unveils a supernatural domain less trodden.

Admission is free and the public is invited. Those planning to park on campus must register in advance for a free parking pass at www.salisbury.edu/administration/administration-and-finance-offices/financial-services/accounts-receivable-cashiers-office/parking-services.
