International Film Series Continues with Hometown Baghdad
SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University takes movie lovers around the globe during the third annual Bridges to the World International Film Series, Mondays from February 14-March 14.
All are introduced and screened at 7 p.m. in Caruthers Hall Auditorium, followed by a discussion.
The series continues Monday, March 7 with Hometown Baghdad (Iraq, 2009). A collection of short, personal documentaries follows the lives of three Iraqi students as they demonstrate how average young people struggle to hang onto a normal life in the midst of danger, chaos, terrorism and military violence.
成人抖阴joins World Artists Experiences, Inc. and Maryland’s Office of the Secretary of State International Division in presenting the series. Salisbury is one of five chosen screening locations in Maryland, including Annapolis, California, Frostburg and Towson.
All films are selected in cooperation with the embassy of each country. Admission is free and the public is invited.
