Looping Workshop at 成人抖阴April 3
SALISBURY, MD---Philadelphia musician Christine Havrilla offers insight into the use of electronics in live performance during a looping workshop at Salisbury University 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, in Conway Hall Room 316.
She is joined by 成人抖阴music alumna Becca Doughty. “Looping” is the use of special equipment to record, play back and overdub musical passages on a loop.
Havrilla has toured nationally as a solo act and with her band, Gypsy Fuzz, performing “well-built, catchy, smart tunes,” according to Upstage Magazine. She uses the soft, gritty texture of her vocals to complement her aggressive trash-style guitar playing and looping.
She formerly worked for TC Helicon, providing demonstrations of the company’s musical effects equipment and loopers at trade shows throughout the U.S.
Sponsored by the Music, Theatre and Dance Department, admission is free and the public is invited. For more information call 410-543-5588 or visit the 成人抖阴website at www.salisbury.edu.
