Perdue School Hosts National Business Etiquette Speaker

SALISBURY, MD---Looking for a job? Want to advance in a career? Then knowledge of business etiquette is essential. Ann Marie Sabath of At Ease Inc. recently shared her secrets for business etiquette and protocol with students in Salisbury University’s Franklin P. Perdue School of Business.  More than 50 students attended the seminar, “Conducting Business with Savvy and Charm,” seeking to gain a competitive edge in their job search and careers.  Often, a decision to hire or not hire a job applicant comes down to a small, seemingly insignificant matter of manners, etiquette, or "polish," Sabath said. She has trained employees in many large national companies including American Express, Citigroup, L'oreal, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Merrill Lynch, Lucent and Saks Fifth Avenue.   She also has hosted etiquette seminars at the University of Maryland College Park; the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill; Cornell, Duke and many other top schools.  Dean William Moore suggested bring her seminar to 成人抖阴to give students an opportunity to learn the secrets to business etiquette.  Sabath's seminar covers more than just dining etiquette. She discusses the rules for proper introductions, correspondence, conversations and networking as well as tips for dressing and accessorizing appropriately. Her message is simple, as stated in her book Business Etiquette in Brief:  "Spending thousands of dollars on a college education and investing in a professional wardrobe aren't always enough.  When everything else is equal, making that positive first impression is frequently the determining factor in being chosen over your competition.” For more information call 410-543-6030 or visit the 成人抖阴Web site at www.salisbury.edu.
