SGA Holds Fifth Annual 'Stop Hatin'' Campaign March 4-8

SGA Holds Fifth Annual Stop Hatin Campaign March 4-8SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Student Government Association (SGA) holds its fifth annual “Stop Hatin’” campaign March 4-8, culminating with a public awareness walk at 4:30 p.m. Friday, March 8.

Throughout the week, a board will be placed at the Student Activities Office in the Guerrieri University Center, where members of the campus community may write messages about hateful experiences they have encountered. At the beginning of the walk, the board will be moved to Red Square and broken, symbolizing an end to those types of situations. Scheduled speakers include 成人抖阴President Janet Dudley-Eshbach and Salisbury mayor and 成人抖阴alumnus Jim Ireton.

Beginning in Red Square, the walk includes areas surrounding campus. Community members are invited to participate with students, faculty and staff, sending a message to “Stop the Hate.” Parking is available at SU’s Wayne Street Garage, the Guerrieri University Center lot off Dogwood Drive and the Blackwell Library lot off of Camden Avenue.
