Salisbury Symphony Orchestra Performs Annual Winter Concert December 14
SALISBURY, MD---The Salisbury Youth Orchestra (SYO) presents its annual winter concert 7:30 p.m. Thursday, December 14, in Salisbury University’s Holloway Hall Auditorium.
The SYO Middle School Orchestra, directed by Martha Mancuso, Salisbury Symphony Orchestra principal cellist, opens the concert, followed by the SYO, directed by Dr. Jeffrey Schoyen.
Middle School Orchestra selections include “Morning Lights” by Brian Balmages, “Loch Lomond,” arranged by Noah Klauss, and “Fum, Fum, Fum,” arranged by Michael Story.
The SYO program includes Schubert’s “Unfinished Symphony,” melodies from the Broadway hit Hamilton, selections from Bruno Mars and “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.”
