Tornado Watch Issued for Wicomico County

SALISBURY, MD---The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a tornado watch for Wicomico County and surrounding areas until 4 p.m. today.

A watch is the first alert issued by the National Weather Service when severe storms are possible in our area. The watch is issued when the conditions are favorable for the formation of severe weather. Remain alert for approaching storms, however residents may continue with their routine, or any other activities.
