Inclement Weather
Salisbury University has developed a plan for announcing emergency delays and cancellations. These are most often associated with inclement weather and unpredictable weather patterns occurring in the winter months.
The University will select the appropriate option when dealing with delays that may affect the daily schedule of students, faculty, staff and/or visitors to the main campus. When road conditions are problematic, 成人抖阴employees and students should exercise good judgment in traveling to and from campus. Those concerned that weather conditions make it too dangerous to travel to campus should follow pre-determined procedures regarding class attendance or work assignments.
Plan A
成人抖阴is closed. All administrative offices are closed. All classes, including in-person, distance-learning and online classes, will not meet.
Plan B
成人抖阴is closed, with University offices closed. Remote courses may continue as usual. Classes that usually meet in person may continue virtually at the instructor's discretion, and students should monitor 成人抖阴email and other class communication outlets for guidance.
Plan C
成人抖阴will operate on a two-hour delay. Offices will open at 10 a.m. The regular class schedule will resume with the 10 a.m. class period on Monday/Wednesday/Friday and with the 11 a.m. class period on Tuesday/Thursday; however, classes regularly scheduled to meet before those times may continue in a virtual format at the instructor’s discretion. In such cases, the instructor will contact students in advance to inform them of a virtual class meeting.
Plan D (Tuesday/Thursday only)
成人抖阴will operate on a 1 hour and 30-minute delay. Offices will open at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday/Thursday classes will begin with the 9:30 a.m. class.
Plan E
Salisbury University will be open, only those employees and students who must come to campus should be on campus. All others should work remotely, if possible. Instructors will contact students to inform them of individual class status.
Supervisors will contact essential employees with information about whether they should report to work. Continue to monitor 成人抖阴email & other communication outlets for direction.
Instructors and supervisors will communicate special arrangements to those expected to be on campus.
Plan F
成人抖阴will close early, with University offices closed. Remote courses may continue as usual. Classes that usually meet in person may continue virtually at the instructor's discretion, and students should monitor 成人抖阴email and other class communication outlets for guidance.
Sign Up for Notifications
Sign up for SMS notifications through the Emergency Alert System (EAS) at Salisbury University. The EAS was developed to provide emergency personnel with a means to rapidly communicate critical lifesaving information to the campus community. The EAS utilizes various communication technologies to increase the likelihood that a majority of the campus community will be alerted since no single solution can reach all individuals. Alerts are also delivered by email to all 成人抖阴employees and students, as well as social media.
