Education Faculty at State of Maryland's International Reading AssociationConference

SALISBURY, MD--Three Salisbury State University Department faculty members recently made presentations at the 41st annual spring conference of the New Jersey Reading Association. Dr. Patricia Richards, associate professor of education, and Dr. John T. Wolinski, professor, conducted the workshop "Silent Pictures Become Talkies: Viewing as a Vehicle for Enhancing Literacy Acquisition."
Dr. Amy S. Meekins, associate professor, conducted a workshop on "Exploring Children’s Literature Through Creative Dramatics." Wolinski, Richards and Meekins have developed a following among New Jersey teachers and are encouraged each year to submit proposals to the NJRA conferences.
