SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University hosts the Center for Equity, Justice and Inclusion Fellow Series on select Thursdays at 4 p.m.
Events include:
- March 31, Blackwell Hall Room 130, Center for Equity, Justice and Inclusion – Clarke Honors College Seminar: “Milestones in Gay American Fiction: Capote, Vidal and Baldwin”: In conjunction with coursework, students from SU’s Glenda Chatham and Robert G. Clark Honors College present background, scholarship and analyses of three pivotal novels: Other Voices, Other Rooms; The City and the Pillar; and Giovanni’s Room.
- April 7, Fulton Hall Room 111 – Midnight Cowboy Screening and Discussion: Midnight Cowboy, the 1969 film directed by John Schlesinger, is the only X-rated film to win the Academy Award for Best Picture. This screening is intended only for mature audiences.
- May 12, Blackwell Hall Room 130, Center for Equity, Justice and Inclusion - Clarke Honors College Seminar: “Milestones in Gay American Fiction: Rechy, Isherwood and White: In conjunction with coursework, students from the Clark Honors College present background, scholarship and analyses of three pivotal novels: City of Night, A Single Man and The Beautiful Room Is Empty.
