SchooLARS 4 STEM Students Visit SU's Henson Medical Simulation Center
Students in the SchooLARS 4 STEM program recently visited Salisbury University’s Richard A. Henson Medical Simulation Center to learn the importance of advanced technology in health care and explore how 成人抖阴prepares students for careers in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics).
Students were able to witness medical simulations on SU’s high-fidelity patient manikin, learn how to take a pulse and perform CPR, as well as learn anatomy, physiology, and conduct virtual dissection using the Anatatomage Table’s three-dimensional visualization system.
SchooLARS 4 STEM is a local grassroots mentoring program that seeks to create a cohort of K-12-aged students with strong STEM aptitude. The event was coordinated by its executive director, 成人抖阴alumna Nicole Turner, who also serves on the 成人抖阴Foundation, Inc. board of directors.
