Athletic Training Club Monster Dash Rescheduled for Nov. 2

Brooke MulfordSALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Athletic Training Club hosts its third annual Monster Dash 4:30 p.m. Friday, November 2.

The 5K run and non-competitive walk, originally scheduled Sunday, October 28, was postponed due to Hurricane Sandy. Proceeds benefit the Brooke Mulford Foundation.

Check-in and same-day registration is 3:45 p.m. at the Sammy the Sea Gull statue in front of SU’s Maggs Physical Activities Center. Day-of registration is $20. Registration forms are available online at the Monster Dash Web site at www.salisbury.edu/hss/atep/atepstudents/monsterdash.html.

The Brooke Mulford Foundation raises awareness and money to fight and fund research for pediatric cancer and help families on the Delmarva Peninsula whose children are diagnosed with cancer. The foundation was created by Rob and Amy Mulford, owners of Market Street Inn, whose daughter, Brooke, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma in early January 2009.
