Author, Educator Gerald Goodwin Discusses African Americans and the Vietnam War March 15
SALISBURY, MD---Educator and author Gerald Goodwin discusses “Race to the Breaking Point: Racial Attitudes, Combat Realities and the African American Military Experience in Vietnam in 1968” at Salisbury University on Thursday, March 15.
His presentation is 7 p.m. in Perdue Hall's Bennett Family Auditorium.
Goodwin is an instructor at Onondaga Community College in Syracuse, NY, where he teaches courses on modern American history and civilizations. He has published several articles on race relations and the Vietnam War in journals and newspapers including World History Connected and The New York Times.
