Feast of the Moon Festival Wednesday, Sepember 27

SALISBURY---Salisbury University inaugurates its fall International Festival of Foods with the Feast of the Moon Festival 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, September 27, in the Commons.
The Feast of the Moon Festival is traditionally a festival of romance and harvest activities. Many legends speak of the festival’s origin. The event is also a time of family reunions, symbolized by the round shape of the moon.

The Feast of the Moon Festival menu includes dim sum, bulgogi, grilled salmon with wasabi cream sauce, Asian wings, phat (pad) thai, jasmine rice, buddha’s delight, eggplant with miso sauce, candy sushi, sweet potato cake with coconut frosting and fortune cookies. Traditional Moon Festival poetry will be read.
