Harpist Melissa Tardiff Performs
SALISBURY, MD--- Washington, D.C., harpist Melissa Tardiff performs at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 4, in the Great Hall of Salisbury University's Holloway Hall.
An active soloist and chamber music musician, Tardiff performed at the world premiere of the film Gods and Generals and in private concert for the ambassador of Spain. She also has appeared with touring bands for singers Anne Murray and Connie Francis and performs at the U.S. Supreme Court, Kennedy Center and U.S. Naval Academy. She holds a Master of Music in harp performance from the Peabody Conservatory of Music and conducts a harp ensemble in Salisbury.
Flutist Sharon Woster Pabon and pianist Kimberly Weber accompany Tardiff.
Pabon has performed at venues as varied as the Baltimore Museum of Art and Oriole Park at Camden Yards. She maintains a private flute studio in Baltimore and provides lessons for the D.C. Youth Orchestra Program.
Weber, a music and chorus teacher at the Salisbury School, owns and operates the KI MUSIC studio, which offers private piano instruction and voice lessons.
