成人抖阴Celebrates National French Week
SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University celebrates National French Week through Saturday, November 8.
To Be and To Have (Être et Avoir), a documentary about one teacher’s attempt to reclaim the importance of education in a rural French community, is screened 3:30 p.m. Wedenesday, November 5 in Henson Science Hall Room 243.
Following To Be and To Have is a French Dinner in the Bistro at the Commons from 4:30-7:30 p.m. The dinner features such French dishes as rosemary rotisserie chicken, vegan cassoulet and chocolate éclairs. The Stereo Strings, violin and accordion duo perform during the meal. Admission is $9.97, $6.06 for children 6-12, free for children under 5.
Au Nid Des Mouettes, the French conversation group for students, meet from 1:15-2:15 p.m. Thursday, November 6, in the Gull’s Nest of the Guerrieri University Center. Admission is free and open to French speakers of all ages and levels. La Société Française meets 4:30-5:30 p.m. at Adam’s Ribs on Route 13 in Fruitland for conversation with students, faculty and Francophone friends in the community for intermediate and advanced levels.
“An Evening of French Music” sponsored by the Department of Music and the Department of Modern Languages and Intercultural Studies is 7 p.m. Saturday, November 8 in the Great Hall of Holloway Hall. The concert features the 成人抖阴Chamber Choir.
The week wraps up with another film on Sunday, November 9 at 7 p.m. in Caruthers Hall 103, He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not (À Ls Folie...Pas Du Tout). This thriller paints a picture of love gone awry, but the main character, Angelique, decides her love should conquer all.
SU’s National French Week celebration culminates when students Ashley Eschenberg, Angela Hammond and Emilie Staubs share their experiences from studying abroad in France, 7 p.m. Monday, November 10, in Caruthers Hall Room 103.
