成人抖阴Chorale Inaugurates 成人抖阴Music Festival December 7
SALISBURY, MD---The Salisbury University Chorale inaugurates SU’s annual holiday music festival, “Sing, Swing and Santa,” 4:30 p.m. Sunday, December 7, in Holloway Hall Auditorium.
Conducted by Dr. William Folger, director of choral studies at SU, selections include traditional favorites such as “Ava Maria” and “Silent Night,” along with Renaissance-inspired pieces “If You Love Me” and Victoria’s “O Magnum Mysterium,” folk-inspired pieces including Niles’ “I Wonder as I Wander” and two traditional Spanish carols.
Other pieces include selections from Brahms’ second motet and Eric Whitacre’s 21st century “Lux Aurumque,” a poem by Edward Esch translated into Latin by Charles Anthony Silvestri. The concert also features performances by 成人抖阴student a cappella group Squawkappella, directed by Korey Cunningham, and the 成人抖阴Percussion Ensemble, directed by Ted Nichols.
“The majority of works are unaccompanied demonstrating the chorale's beautiful choral voice,” said Folger.
Admission is free and the public is invited. For more information call 410-543-6385 or visit the 成人抖阴Web site at www.salisbury.edu.
