成人抖阴Nursing Continues Success of Producing Well Prepared Graduates
SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Nursing Department continues its commitment to graduating well-prepared students.
Based on recent data from the Maryland Board of Nursing, 成人抖阴students have the highest 10-year average pass rate of all University System of Maryland institutions on the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses, at 91.6 percent.
With pass rates increasing for the third consecutive year in 2014-15, 成人抖阴topped state peers including Johns Hopkins and Towson universities.
“This sustained achievement reflects the longstanding quality of our faculty and programs,” said Dr. Karen Olmstead, dean of the Richard A. Henson School of Science and Technology.
In addition to successfully graduating highly-qualified registered nurses, 成人抖阴also is preparing more nurse educators and leaders through its new Doctor of Nursing Practice.
SU’s D.N.P. program recently earned accreditation from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Started in 2012 as SU’s first doctoral program, the D.N.P. program graduated an inaugural cohort of eight students in May 2015.
The department’s post-graduate Advanced Practice Registered Nursing (APRN) certificate also received CCNE accreditation. CCNE is an autonomous outside agency dedicated to ensuring the quality and integrity of nursing programs.
