成人抖阴Presents Spirituality Film Series Mondays, October 10-31

Beyond our Differences Movie PosterSALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Spirituality Film Series takes viewers on a journey through spiritual and religious beliefs Mondays, October 10-31.

All films are screened at 7 p.m. in the Great Hall of Holloway Hall.

The series begins with the documentary Beyond Our Differences, featured on the PBS series Bill Moyers Journal. Director Peter Bisanz showcases a tapestry of distinct voices and viewpoints regarding spirituality, woven with one universal expression: hope. Religious thinkers and leaders, including Deepak Chopra, Ela Gandhi, Archbishop Desmond Tutu and the Dalai Lama, present a unified message of empowerment to effect positive change.

Other films in the series include:

• October 17 – The Shakers: Hands to Work, Hearts to God. Part of the Ken Burns America series, this documentary profiles the United Society of Believers in Christ’s Second Appearing, whose beliefs include pacifism, feminism, freedom from prejudice, and natural health and hygiene.

• October 23 – The Amish: Shunned. Filmed over the course of 12 months, this PBS American Experience documentary follows seven members of the close-knit Amish community as they reflect on their decisions to leave.

• October 31 – Rick Steves’ European Christmas. The popular travel host presents a vivid portrait of how Europeans celebrate the holiday from England to Norway, Burgundy to Bavaria, and Rome to the Swiss Alps, featuring 14 complete concert performances.
