³ÉÈ˶¶ÒõProfessor on History Channel

SALISBURY, MD---When the History Channel needed an expert on the history of torture, they turned to Salisbury University history professor Dr. Melanie Perreault.

Perreault appears on the channel’s Modern Marvels series during an episode detailing torture devices used from ancient to modern times, scheduled to air 10 p.m. May 22. Speaking about the European and Native American clashes during the 17th century, Perreault examines the Iroquois and the Jesuits of New France.

According to its Web site, Modern Marvels “celebrates ingenuity, invention and imagination brought to life on a grand scale… telling the stories of the doers and dreamers who created everyday items, technological breakthroughs and man-made wonders throughout history.”
